Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 24:24-27

Sermon by Guest Preacher Fred Sloan. Sermon Text: Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 24:24-27

This sermon has nothing new in it. It is about something you know very well but something we must never forget. We live in a world in which raw paganism is taking over our country. How will we respond? We must be a going people – we must purposely pray that God will place us in relationships and ministries where we can talk to men and women about the gospel. As we talk with them, we should focus on reasoning with them by contrasting the Bible's view of righteousness, self-control, and judgment to come. In talking with folks about the Gospel, we must not fear failure. Our job is not to convince people, but to tell the message of the Bible. Only the Holy Spirit can convince and convert.
